Share Some Love: Gratitude

Yesterday was seriously the best day ever. Well, other than the day I got married. And gave birth to my two kidlets. And the I met Kim from The Tomkat Studio. Well, you get the point.

But seriously, as fas ar my little blog goes, yesterday was one of the best days ever and I have some people that I need to thank because there is absolutely no way that I would have been able to accomplish it on my own. This may come across as the kind of speech you’d hear after someone wins an Oscar, but bear with me please.

First up, the husband. Not only is he completely amazing, but as I was sitting across from him yesterday afternoon, he says to me, “Your Silhouette should be here tomorrow. Watch for it.” What?!? I am happy to say that she showed up safe and sound today. Not only does he surprise me with awesome birthday gifts, but he is also incredibly supportive and understanding of all of my blog craziness lately. I took too much on in too short a time and he has been here every step of the way helping to calm me and remind me how much I really do love what I do.

To Kim: You have given me the biggest opportunity to date and I am forever grateful to you for that. After your post yesterday, my page views are five (5!) times higher than they were on any previous day since I started Sweet Rose Studio. I’ve also been presented with amazing opportunities due to your kindness and if you ever need me to return the favor, it will happen, no questions asked.

Kristi and Kelli, my lovely ladies from Lolly Jane, thank you for letting me drag you into this. Little did we know that one pink chandelier would create all of this. I am so appreciative that you are up for rolling with the punches as I come up with one crazy idea after another. I promise I’ll wait until the fall for our next one; don’t worry, it is coming, but we’ll plan one for the boys next time.

To all of the amazing vendors who willingly donated items to our little party photo shoot I must say a special thank you! Many of you probably hadn’t even heard of me before, but were willing to be so generous with your time and craft. Each and every one of you are masters at what you do and I am so lucky that I get to help “Share You Love.” (You can find a complete list of vendors from our Girlies’ Day Out Party at the end of the post.)

Jamielyn at I {heart} Naptime has given me a huge opportunity be allowing me to be a contributor on her amazing blog. I’ll be posting over there twice a month (every other Friday) and I am thankful she trusts me enough to do this! I love to write, I love to share, and I love that now I get to that with even more people.

To my new friends, fans, and followers, I am so appreciative for the kind words and messages you’ve written to me since the launch of the party. I’ve read each and every single one (my husband has heard the vast majority, too) and I am really touched. I feel validation in that I am on the right path and doing what I was meant to do.
