Bakerella Book Signing

Have you ever had the opportunity to sink your teeth into one of the tasty creations called “cake balls” or “cake pops?” If you haven’t, let me just stop you right here and let you know you are sorely missing out on an incredibly yummy treat.

Myself and some other local bloggers went to a book signing for Bakerella this past weekend. Not only did we get a chance to get out, get together, and have fun, but we were able to hear the Cake Pop Goddess herself talk about her yummy cake pops and take pictures with us.

We were so excited. Like, probably a little too excited. Miss Bakerella herself was super nice and tweeted she would see us soon. See? Of course, we were all sitting there waiting for her already, so we got pumped up even more.

She began the signing by answering questions about the finer workings of cake pop creation and how she came this super-mega-famous lady (at least in the foodie and crafting community). I love how humble and nervous she was; seriously awesome, I tell ya.

And the shoes. Oh, the shoes. Need I say more?

Of course the crazy bloggers that we are had to stay around for a group shot at the end. I’m fairly certain I was a solid six inches taller than anyone else. Embrace the height, right?
