Handmade Gift Exchange

The lovely Linda from Craftaholics Anonymous hosts a Handmade Gift Exchange twice yearly and since I absolutely loved participating last time, I thought I’d give it a try again! This time was just as great; is it crazy that the most fun part of the whole process is not the actual gift giving/receiving, it’s the meeting of new people who love to be crafty like myself?

I was paired up with Kathryn from Destination: Craft this go ’round and she made me the most beautiful Kindle cover. When she asked what I wanted it to look like, poor thing had this answer to go off of:

I really love anything girly, ruffly, romantic. I’m not a modern, geometric type
girl as much as I’d love to be sometimes; I’m just a sucker for Pride and
Prejudice and all things floral.

Helpful, right?

Well, Miss Kathryn nailed it. I love LOVE this and I am so excited to use it!

As for my gift to her, I set to work creating a custom, personalized set of printables for her sweet daughter’s first birthday in March. She wanted pink and owls and I took it from there. I’m pretty excited about how it all turned out!

I hope Kathryn and Miss Gracie enjoy these and *Huge* thanks to Linda again for putting this all together!
