So did y’all like the Favorite Things Party from yesterday? There were so many DIY projects that went in to making it a success, so I thought I’d share how to re-create it on your own the rest of this week.
Today’s post features the Bling Bloom Mason Jar and I have a little surprise about why I’m kicking off the tutorials with this little beauty! Keep reading to read all about the big news…
I am so honored to be working with Lifestyle Crafts now! They are an amazing brand that produces the Epic 6, an all-around must-have crafting tool that serves as a die-cutter, embosser, and letterpress. If you already own one of the other die-cut machines out there, all of the Lifestyle die-cuts will work in the others too. I used my Epic 6 and Lifestyle’s new Blossom line of dies for this project and when you get to the end, I have a sweet discount for all of you Sweet Rose Studio readers!
Now let’s get crafting!
mason jar * Bloom die-cuts in color of choice
1 in. strip of scrapbook paper * permanent glue stick
Fold each of the Bloom die-cuts along the preforated lines.
Use the glue secure the patterned paper around the mason jar. Place a good amount of glue on the two parts of the flowers that will touch. Hold them firmly together to create a solid bond. Apply glue to the back of the Bloom duo and press firmly to the patterned paper on the jar. Use the glue again to adhere the jewel to the center of the flower. Give it enough time to dry before you use it to drink from. Enjoy!
