Do you ever hear of a situation that just breaks your heart and makes you want to be physically be sick all in the same moment?
That’s easily what I’ve felt like this week as I followed Heidi’s story of her sister-in-law. Alice gave birth to a healthy baby girl a week-and-a-half ago, her and her husband’s third child. Alice contracted a serious infection and passed away two days ago. Heidi’s brother is now left to pick up the pieces, raising two small boys and a newborn daughter while dealing with his wife’s death.
While there isn’t much that any of us can do to truly help, the family is asking for donations, big or small, to help with funeral costs and to help Heidi’s brother during this transition. Heidi has set up a button on the right side of her blog that will direct you to where you can donate. Any little bit will help.
