In the nine years that I’ve been married, the Husband and I have had two kids and lived in two homes. One of those numbers just got bigger…
Just over a month ago, we randomly stumbled upon a home across the street from where we currently live that was going to be put up for sale. It’s a home that I had admired for the nearly six years we’ve lived across the street from it. After touring it at 8 pm on a Sunday night after I knocked on the door, we put in our offer at noon Thursday. By 4:15 that same Thursday afternoon, we had an offer on our current home.
I feel like my head is still spinning with how easily and how quickly everything has fallen into place.
Instead of crafting and blogging like I’m used to, I’ve spent the last few weeks cleaning, packing, and as of this past weekend, moving. Even though this hasn’t been the easiest process, I already feel like I’m at home. When we left our first home six years ago, I was distraught. I questioned whether we were making the right decision. I questioned if we were moving to the right location. I questioned whether I was going to be happy in the long run.
I have no questions this time.
The kids are happy, the Husband is happy, I am happy.
I can’t wait to share the before and afters, the improvements, and the changes we’ll be making. Who’s game for a home tour?
I’m so thankful for each and every one of you that’s stuck by me during my absence. I literally have the best readers EVER!

Love the kitchen. I have always wanted a kitchen where the sink is under a window!!! Congrats and good luck!

Happy new home and happy moving! We just did that on the 1st! Moving is horrible, but this time we didn’t move ourselves we hired movers which made it a little easier. Can’t wait to see pictures of your new home.
