In case you didn’t already know, I’ve partnered with three other amazing local Phoenix bloggers to plan and host a fantastic craft night: The Handmade Nest. We recently put on our second event and although it’s so hard to believe that another Handmade Nest has come and gone already, we had such a blast that I wanted to share a little recap with all of the super fun details!
This time around, our event was held at The DenMar Estate in Mesa, AZ. It is a gorgeous facility perfect for not only our craft event, but for weddings and parties of all sizes.
All of our sponsors were so incredibly generous to our attendees and each lady who came walked away with a swag bag chock full of goodies. No joke — these events wouldn’t be nearly as awesome as they are without their extreme generosity.
See what I mean?! With scissors and tape runners from Scotch, wreaths from FloraCraft, fabric from Riley Blake, flair from The Glitter Revival, cookies from Lemon Bliss Bakery, a print from The Diary of Dave’s Wife, more goodies from Elmer’s, Consumer Crafts, Cricut, My Mind’s Eye, and Shop 24, plus a super adorable gold custom necklace handmade by our very own Rebecca! Score!
An event wouldn’t be complete without an amazing dessert set up and the girls from Petite Party Studio knocked it out of the park again. With the giant balloons, fringe garland, and the sweetest prints, they created a gorgeous display that set a beautiful stage for the delicious treats.
Speaking of delicious treats, can we just stop for a second and chat about the cupcakes and cake pops shared by Inspired Sugar? The chocolate snickerdoodle cupcakes and red velvet cake pops were seriously amazing. The four of us at The Handmade Nest are still drooling over the yumminess!

We at The Handmade Nest pride ourselves on making sure that a good amount of our attendees walk away with some fantastic prizes. Our giveaway table was packed with prizes from so many of our sponsors and were a serious highlight of the night.
If you are an Arizona or Utah native, you *have* to look up Waffle Love. They were able to park their truck at The DenMar Estate while we were there and their waffles are mouth-watering, no joke! Put a pregnant girl (or this one at least) within a 50 foot radius
Finally, let’s chat about why we were all really at The Handmade Nest: the crafts!
Women from all over Arizona (Tucson included!), were able to congregate and craft together — kid free, we might add — for a night. We at The Handmade Nest whole-heartedly believe that it’s important for women to get out and meet others with common interests, crafting in our case.
Plus, isn’t it refreshing to be able to go home at the end of the night with a completed project, ready for display in your home?
We want to thank every one of our attendees and sponsors for making our second Handmade Nest event such a success!
