Since Creative Estates, a few local bloggers and I have been trying to get together at least once a month to talk shop and get to know each other better. Last month we went to dinner, but this month we thought we’d change things up a bit. Sara from Mom Endeavors and I contacted Elmer’s and they were generous enough to send us each a huge kit loaded with Elmer’s and Xacto goodies to share and craft with! Because we live on complete opposite sides of Phoenix, we decided to each host our own Craft and Tell Night. Make sure to check out her re-cap too!
Here is what each lovely lady received just for attending:
Amazing, right?!? I really felt like we were so lucky to get this opportunity, so I went with that for the table theme. I whipped up a quick printable (that you can download here) to decorate the chinese take-out boxes I had picked up. Add in a few fortune cookies and voila! Table is set!
After chatting for a good while, we got to crafting! I loved that we had such a wide variety of projects being worked on: picture frames, jewelry, home decor, and even dog bow ties.
Joanna from Baked by Joanna was busy making bow ties for her puppies!
There was some serious hard work going on! Everyone loved getting their hands on the Elmer’s and Xacto goodies.
Poor Kristi from Lolly Jane Boutique. She was only able to stop over for about 5 minutes because her baby had double ear infections, pink eye, and a yeast infection.
And now for some finished products!
Belinda made a gorgeous bracelet from ribbon and pearls.
Kelli from Lolly Jane Boutique made the best of her over-abundance of wood stars to create a great Patriotic piece.
Jessa from Sparkle created a fabulous picture frame.
We had an amazing time getting together and doing what we love thanks to Elmer’s! Stop back by tomorrow because Elmer’s is offering up two (2!) prize packages that are amazing!
