I am one supremely lucky girl. Over the course of the past week, whether it’s been for my birthday or from my handmade exchange buddy, I’ve been given some really nice gifts.
First up: the amazing Jacquie from Jellybean Junction. She and I were paired up when we both signed up for the Handmade Gift Exchange that Linda from Craftaholics Anonymous is hosting and I really think I seriously lucked out on this one. Jacquie is incredibly sweet and generous and I feel like if she lived a little closer (she’s in TN), then we would be fast friends. I received my package of goodies in the mail yesterday and I was blown away by everything she sent. I mean, look.
Fantastic, right? The goodies include a custom picture frame…
…a matching plaque with the business name…
…a gorgeous pin board with matching pins and attached decorative clips…
…coordinating earrings and a hair clip…
…and two of these lovelies. I had been contemplating making a sheet metal magnet board for the office, and now that I have these two magnet clips, I think it’s a sure thing!
Next is the lovely Laura, who you might know from Pink Cake Plate, but watch for what she’s got coming next: Rumpled Rose. I am so ridiculously excited for her to launch her new venture. At Creative Estates, as we were all meeting new people, there were business cards being exchanged like crazy. Laura went to her local office store that night and whipped up this amazing business card holder the next morning before the conference. Craziness I tell you. After much cheerleading, I’m so happy that Laura has decided to produce these beauties, along with some other top-secret goodies. You definitely won’t want to miss it!
The flower on the front is not your run-of-the-mill silk flower. She actually makes these by hand and mounts them on a pin so you can also use them on other items or as a brooch.
When you open it up, there is a space to the left where she’s added a small pocket where you can store larger business cards.
And in the back is a taller pocket for storing a pad of paper for notes or writing utensils. I absolutely love this!
Last, but absolutely not least, I received this basket of goodies from the sweet Joanna of Baked By Joanna at Girl’s Night Out the night before my birthday. She loaded it up with lots of fun things to celebrate my birthday with.
I did notice that she was kind enough to not get me enough candles. I’m still in denial that I’m 29.
Thank you so much girls for your generosity!
