Easy-Peasy Christmas Ornaments

Today is mine and The Husband’s 8th wedding anniversary. Swoon, right? I love him.

Sorry I got off track there. 🙂 He’s just such a keeper. Because we got married the day after Thanksgiving, we used some of the money we were generously given to purchase ornaments for our first Christmas Tree. At 21, I was thinking more about what was the most visually appealing, not what would be the safest for our future kidlets. Well those kidlets are definitely here now and all of those pretty glass ornaments aren’t going anywhere near our tree this year because they would easily be smashed into a million little pieces all over said kidlets and our home. No thanks.

I had to come up with a budget-friendly idea for our ornaments and as I was browsing through Jo-Ann’s, I found it! Are you ready for the easiest tutorial ever?

 Supplies

hole punch * ribbon * foam snowflakes

Punch a hole in one arm of the snowflake. You could for sure use a hand punch, but I figured this was more hand-friendly.

Try not to let all of your cuties steal your snowflakes. But if they do, you don’t have to worry!

Thread your ribbon of choice through the hole and hang on your tree! See, I told you it was easy peasy!

I love how simple, yet striking these snowflakes look on our tree. I haven’t added any of our other ornaments yet, and honestly, I’m not sure if I’m going to. What do you think I should do?

I love these. So simple but pretty. You could even dress them up with some glitter or salt to make them sparkle.
