Handmade Holiday with Lolly Jane: Menu Board

I am so excited to get the Handmade Holiday series started today and boy do I have a treat for you! First up are the lovely ladies from Lolly Jane, some of the most amazing girls you will ever get a chance to know! I’m lucky enough that I got to live next door to them growing up and they are seriously as crafty and as cute as they come. Take it away ladies…

Hey there Sweet Rose readers!  We are longtime friends of Katie and just love love love her and of course are soooo excited to participate in her Holiday Handmade series!
{Picture taken by the talented Katie!}
We are twin sisters Kelli & Kristi of Lolly Jane, a craft blog filled with home decor tutorials, home improvement tips, a recipe here ‘n there. We would ♥ for you to pop by our blog, FB or Twitter and say HEY! 🙂
Today we’re going to show a super easy & practical gift we’re giving away this Christmas season, a framed menu:
We both have the problem of answering, “Ummm… what sounds good?” when our husbands come home from work and ask what’s for dinner so now we can let them know without having to ask AND, it’s a great outline for weekly grocery shopping 😉  We know most of our sisters & friends share this same problem so this is an easy solution and an inexpensive gift to give.
To get started you need just a few things:
12 x 12 picture frame
12 x 12 scrapbook paper
11 x vinyl lettering or stencil/acrylic paint
Dry-erase marker

Simply apply the vinyl lettering onto the glass, slide the paper in and write your menu for the week:
Tie a big red bow with a dry-erase marker on to finish it off:
Thanks again for having us Katie!
Can’t wait to see the rest of Holiday Handmade 🙂
XOXO

So stinkin’ cute girls! I love that this gift serves a purpose while “sprucing up your space.” Thanks for sharing!
