As I was planning the Favorite Things Party, one of the biggest pieces of advice from my dream bloggers was from sweet Courtney of Pizzazzerie. She highlighted the importance of sending your guest home with a favor, no matter how small.
Since I had just recieved the treat box die cut from Lifestyle Crafts, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Keep reading to get the full tutorial!
Before I get started with the how-to, I wanted to take a sec to point out that Lifetyle has a whole series of videos to help you learn how to use the Epic 6. They were super helpful in making sure that I was following the right steps.
Materials:
Epic 6 * treat box die * Favorite Things Printables
candy stick * black gingham ribbon
permanent glue * acrylic jewels
Use the Epic 6 and treat box die to cut out the favor box. Fold the box along the preforated lines and fold it up, focusing on getting the bottom folded in first. Apply a good amount of glue to the tab and press firmly to seal the box. Put the candy stick through the slits at the top to hold the top section of the box in place.
Use one of the strips from the printable set and glue it securely around the outside of the box. Die cut the two flowers in contrasting colors and use your fingers to curl the petals up. Glue the flowers and an acrylic jewel directly on top of the diagonal stripe strip. Thread the gingham ribbon through the slits at the top and remove the candy stick once the ribbon is through. Tie the ribbon in a bow.
You are finished and ready to give this cute box to all of your guests!
