I love to play with my Lifestyle Epic 6, but I have to admit that I use it for die-cutting purposes a solid 99.9% of the time. I’m the kind of person that gets into a comfort zone and gets *real* comfortable. Like, I’m not budging.
Today I’m breaking outside of the box I put myself in and I’m using the Epic 6 for two of the other amazing things it does: embossing and letter pressing!
I created this note card set for my son’s preschool teacher as part of Teacher Appreciation and I love that it can be so versatile: thank you notes, gift enclosure, thinking of you cards. The list goes on!
Teal Blue Letterpress Ink * Colored Twine
This process was actually super quick and easy! Once you get the hang out it, you’ll be able to crank these babies out!
We’re going to emboss only the front of the note cards, so you’ll need to place half of the card inside the embossing folder and fold the other half behind the closed embossing folder. Place the embossing folder on the platform, cover with the mat, and then roll it through the Epic 6. When you’re finished, you’ll have an embossed note card!
For the envelope, we’re going to be getting our letterpress on! The whole process is actually pretty simple and straightforward and luckily for the both of us, Lifestyle Crafts has already created a video and a written tutorial that are super easy to follow!
There you have it! It was a simple process and quick, right?!? Once your set of cards is wrapped with some colored baker’s twine, it’s ready for gifting!
