Child to Cherish Holiday Handprint Ornament

You may remember about five weeks ago when I shared that my BFF and her husband had their first baby, Miss Stella. I was absolutely blessed to get to witness her being brought into the world and I wanted to do something to commemorate her first Christmas.

The Child to Cherish Holiday Handprint Ornament was a perfect choice: simple, handmade, and able to capture the tiny footprint of sweet Stella.

Child to Cherish features a broad selection of quality gift and keepsake items ideal for gift giving and receiving for any and every special occasion year round. Each item is set to to capture precious moments of a child’s life, and make lasting memories. Child to Cherish’s wide selection of baby gifts and keepsakes makes every baby shower, christening , baptism, birthday, or any occasion for that matter, all the more special.

Preserve the innocence of a child with the Child to Cherish Holiday Handprint Ornament. This set Includes no mess clay, a rolling pin, 2 cutting rings and a ribbon. Safe and non-toxic air dry clay requires no mixing or baking. Child to Cherish is the original hand print company since 1987.

Stella was a trooper and let us attempt her handprint first, but we quickly learned that hands are really difficult with a newborn. They have a natural reflex that makes their hand close; no pretty handprints here.

Instead, we decided that a foot print was a much better idea. I love that with the marshmallow clay you can easily start over without any worries that you’ve ruined the clay.

The entire process took us less than five minutes and the directions were super easy to follow and understand. I’m so glad that Andrea and her husband will have their sweet baby girl’s foot print as a keepsake for years to come.

You can follow Child to Cherish on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest to keep up with all of their awesomeness!
