Valentine Treat Boxes

2013 is here! I am determined to get this blog back on track and back to what you’ve come to know and look forward to when you come here. I’m thrilled to kick off this new year with my first craft: a set of Valentine Treat Boxes. These cuties are the perfect size for gifting candy hearts in classrooms, filling with gift cards, or stashing a little bling for your own Valentine.

Lifestyle Crafts

The entire process to create these is actually ridiculously easy. As long as you have the correct die cuts and a little bakers twine, you’ll be good to go!

Lifestyle Crafts

Materials:

Epic 6 * Lips Die * Mustaches Die

Hanging Box Die * Ticket Punches Die * Weave Die

Bakers Twine * Adhesive

I created what I considered a boy version and a girl version to cover all of the bases. Both versions use the Hanging Box Die as a starting point.

To re-create the girl version, use the Weave Die and the Lips Die (I actually used a different die that is no longer available — Duh, Katie — but the Weave Die is an awesome substitute). I looped a long length of bakers twine and tied it off in the middle to make the bow. Girls valentine treat box, done.

To re-create the boy version, use the Ticket Die and the Mustaches Die. Wrap the bakers twine around the ticket punch and top the box with a mustache of your choice. Boys treat box, done!
