Baby Week: A Detour

Some days, things just don’t quite work out as you plan.

I’ve had this idea brewing in my head for the last week; it’s actually the reason I started to put together this whole Baby Week on the blog. But no matter how hard I tried to make the prints work like they did in my imagination, I just can’t get them to a point that I like and who wants ugly, overworked art work on their baby’s wall? Ick. Not me. And I would absolutely hate to have that potential image keeping me up at night. I already have enough problems sleeping.

So today, I’m taking a detour because I can and this is my blog. Take that. 🙂

Instead today, I’m sharing some of the cutest T-Ball pictures you ever did see. I am so proud of my sweet Luke and how hard he’s working to be the best little ball player. He and The Husband work hard at throwing, hitting, and catching in our backyard and I can’t get enough of his t-ball get-up. Be still my heart!

Thanks for allowing the change of pace for today. I’m excited to be back tomorrow with a fun giveaway that I’m hoping you’ll like!

[…] Next: Work on your first layout. Yep, just one. Pick a single event or set of pictures that you want to work with. It can be super easy to get completely overwhelmed if you go into this thinking of every single picture or memory that you’ll need to pack into this {and future} albums. Start with just one idea. For me, I’m working with pictures from Luke’s t-ball games. […]
