Sometimes I struggle with an idea; I fight and wrestle to come up with something that I think you might enjoy or benefit from. Sometimes, inspiration smacks me in the face and I wonder why I haven’t started putting together the next masterpiece already. This Ombre Easter Egg Pallet Art was of the latter category.
Apparently when I have one too many blank pallets just waiting to be created for the Etsy shop, I have a creative streak that itches to make something new. I let Reagan pick the color of the Easter Egg and without thinking twice, she selected the pink and I got to work. To create the ombre effect, I simply added more white paint to the pink for each color change. I didn’t want to get to close to having a white shade in the ombre due to the fact that the background of the pallet had already been painted a grayish-white.
To complete the Easter vignette, I filled a mini cloche with pretty plastic Easter eggs and my Hoppy Day print inside the Interchangeable Picture Frame. Easy peasy and super inexpensive. These are always important factors in my decorating seeing as how I have two kidlets that like to touch everything. A lot.
I’m in love with how my Easter decor turned out! I’m debating…would you be interested in seeing this design in the Sweet Rose Studio on Etsy shop?
A few of my other blog buddies have come up with some of their own Easter egg projects. Aren’t they cute?!?

what a pretty pallet! It makes such a great backdrop for your Easter decor! Love the colors too. WELCOME SPRING!!
Thanks so much Niki! You’re so sweet. 🙂
Gorgeous! One of these days I need to find a pallet to tear up and play with…
My dirty little secret: I don’t even use old pallets. My husband has access to scrap boards at work so he brings them home for me. 🙂
I have leftover pallet wood – score!
This is lovely! I am very inspired. Pinned!
Thank you Emily! I am so glad that you like it!
