Have you ever had something that you were SO excited to share that you ended up putting it off time after time until you thought it was exactly perfect and then as soon as you took and edited all of the pictures you decided there was something more you could add to make it that much better? Just me? I’m not surprised, but I’m here today to *finally* share Reagan’s Room Reveal.
Keep reading along to get all of the sweet details!
I’d like to preface this post with an apology for the photography of this post. I’m actually hanging my head in shame. It’s tough to get great lighting in a west facing room that has serious shade screens on the window. Imagine that her room is a gorgeous shade of pale pink and that everything is light, bright, and airy.
Carry on. 🙂
I’ve honestly been working on Reagan’s room since this little ole blog started almost 2.5 years ago. It’s been a constant work in progress and when I finally thought that I had it all under control, we moved in December. Smart, right? I think it was actually the spark I needed to get my imagination going and the kick to finish projects. Take the Flower Mobile, for instance.
The room was based around the sweet bedding that I found at Target. It’s from the Simply Shabby Chic line, and although the specific quilt that Reagan has is no longer available, there are some other super cute options.
You’ve seen this frame set up before {I hope}; it was part of my Fabric Frames tutorial. It’s still one of my favorite parts of the room. Of course after I took these pictures, I had another fun idea for this wall. Apparently, you should be prepared for a room update soon.
While wandering aimlessly through Michael’s one day, I stumbled across some treasures for Reagan’s room; this sparkler being one of them. Because we live in Phoenix, there is no way to get out of having a ceiling fan in every room. It is miserable in the summer without it. As much as I would love to have a fancy vintage chandelier, it just isn’t in the cards for her. Adding this pink crystal from the fan chain is the closest she’s going to get and we kind of love it.
Between Home Goods, Michael’s, and gifts given to my sweet girl, this shelf has become a place to collect some of her most valuable treasures.
Here’s the newest addition to Reagan’s room: a tulle garland. It runs the length of one of her walls and it adds the perfect touch of sass and sweet. Stop back tomorrow to get the full tutorial on how to re-create your own. 😉
The top of Reagan’s dresser hold the masses of pretties {hair bows and jewelry} that this girl has accumulated in her short three years. Somewhere under the piles of bows is her bow holder {it’s cute — trust me} and she still loves her glittery clock. I’m thinking I may need to make her a larger bow holder sometime soon…
Remember how I mentioned the treasures I found at Michael’s? The knobs were another one of those awesome finds. They were seriously like $2 a knob. There was no way I could pass them up!
So what do you think? I personally love that there isn’t a specific theme. It won’t be forever labeled princess, dolls, or a certain Disney character, not that I have any issue with any of those things. It just wasn’t what I’d envisioned for my girl’s room.

What paint color did you use? It’s so nice.
Beautiful room! You did a great job of making it special for her. I love the soft pink everything.
Thank you Andrea! I’m so glad she shares my obsession with pink. It made the process so much easier. 🙂
