Sometimes, when I’m uber-busy and I feel like things are coming at me faster than I can adequately deal with them, I have to take a step back and just breathe, soak up a big gulp of fresh air, and remind myself of what is truly important.
These two and my camera-shy husband.
They may be loud, noisy, argumentative, sassy, and more independent than I can handle sometimes, but that is just more of them to love. When they snuggle up next to me or give me a huge squeeze-y hug, or tell me they love me out of the blue, I know that these are the moments that balance out the crazy.
The end of the school year has me spinning in more circles than normal. This is my first true time having to deal with the chaos of performances, recitals, graduations, parties and dang — this girl needs a lot of deep breaths. And you know what? I really wouldn’t change anything about it.
So for today, I have no new craft or tutorial to share with you and I’m really sorry about that. I’ll be back tomorrow with a brand spankin’ new Project Life post, but for today, I’m enjoying my babies.
And taking some big, deep breaths.
