While I’m super pumped for Thanksgiving this week (hello, best meal of the year!), I’m possibly equally excited for the new Disney movie FROZEN to make its way into theaters too. I have a serious love affair happening with all things Disney-related and have all my life; a new movie that my kids are just as excited for as I am just makes it that. much. better!
I went to Walmart last week with the intention of just picking up a book about the movie so we could have a heads up about the story line. I know I could easily have waited until this week to see the movie, but Reagan and I were just way too excited. Plus, getting books for my kidlets is never a bad thing, right?
After I started perusing through the book and I saw how absolutely darling the story is, I couldn’t help but think of Christmas and how much the kids would adore getting some FROZEN goodies in their stockings and underneath the tree. First up: the Elsa doll. Reagan adores all of her Disney dolls and Elsa will make a great addition to the collection. And can I just say from a mom perspective, I adore that the Disney dolls are modestly dressed? Thank you Disney!
When my girl was potty training this time last year, she was rewarded with these small Disney Princess dolls when she’d reach important milestones. She lived for those figures and still plays with them all this time later, so when I saw the set of all of the major characters from FROZEN, I knew that Reagan would be just as obsessed with these ones too. I can already see all of the imaginary play and re-creations of the movie happening and that makes this momma’s heart happy.
I couldn’t forget the stockings, either! The FROZEN coloring book and Elsa doll (that talks!) will be perfect to add a little extra cheer on Christmas morning.
Did you think that all of this FROZEN goodness was just for the girls? No! I can already tell that Olaf, the sweet snowman from the movie, will be a hit with all kids, boys included. Luke will wake up to find the talking Olaf and a coloring book of his own in his stocking on Christmas morning. See? A little something for every kidlet on your list!
So there you have it! I just know that both of my kids are going to be thrilled with all of the FROZEN fun they’ll be experiencing Christmas morning.
Tell me — will you and your family be seeing FROZEN when it comes out this week?!?
