I was lucky enough to be invited to share a fun Teacher Appreciation Gift Idea over at Skip to My Lou a couple of weeks back; I love when I get to guest post and share new ideas with new audiences! Today, I’m back here sharing that very idea just in time for Teacher Appreciation week (which is this week, in case this is news to you).
Without further adieu, here’s the post!
I know I’ve chatted about this in the past, but in case you’re new here (hi!), back in the day before I was a momma, I was an elementary school teacher. I absolutely adored being in the classroom with eight year olds each day; they were still at an age where they loved being at school and would give me big squeezy hugs each morning. The one thing I didn’t enjoy so much was the amount of my own personal funds that I had to use to make sure we had adequate supplies. Who would, right?!
Now that I’m on the other side of the education fence with my two kidlets in school themselves, I really try to supply my kids’ teachers with as many of the things they need to make their class run. Things like books, rewards, pencils, and glue sticks are always needed in a young classroom and Teacher Appreciation Week is a perfect time to replenish their diminishing stock. I put together this sweet gift for my son’s Kindergarten teacher and created a set of free printable tags to share with you!
The gift that I put together has a book for the teacher’s class library, plus a few reading supplies that I know that she uses on a daily basis in her class. Why not give the teacher some things that you know he or she has been spending their own money on?

I’ve included four different color options for the tags so there’s something there for everyone. Simply choose the one that works best for your gift!
