I’ve had quite a few crazy random ideas that have been floating around in my head the past few months. I’d like to blame it on all of the pregnancy and post-pregnancy hormones, but in reality, its just how my brain operates. One of the things I’ve been wanting to make for my kids since they’ve become obsessed with the “What Does the Fox Say?” are animal masks. When I came across the awesome fox mask shape in the Cricut Design Space, I was sold.
Cricut Design Space takes all of the guesswork out of the crafty process. It walks you through which pieces to cut and even shows you how to assemble the various pieces. It really is super difficult to mess up.
See that slit in the picture above? That is where the ease of use comes in. The various pieces of the fox mask simply slip together through those slits. I used a tape runner to make sure that everything stays in place because let’s be honest — small children will be wearing these.
They turned out super cute, right? My favorite part is that they don’t have to be just part of the shin dig you put together; creating a set of animal masks for your kidlets for imaginative play would be equally awesome. If you do decide to make these for your kids to play with on a regular basis, I’d totally have them laminated to prolong their shelf life.
