It’s crazy where can inspiration can hit you or what can trigger it. When my sister handed me a small bag of these cute chocolate carrots a week or so back, I knew I had to make a sweet little bag to put them in. I was a woman on a mission! Within the next 24 hours, I’d hunted down the exact sack I had in mind and had created this super easy and super adorable Bunny Bait Easter Treat that’ll be the perfect addition to my kidlets’ Easter baskets!
Materials:
canvas bag (I found mine in the Dollar Spot at Target)
carrot stencil
Americana Multi-Surface Satin paints in Pumpkin Patch and Leprechaun
paint brush
blue painters tape
treats to fill the bag with
Directions:
1. Tape the stencil to the bag with the painters tape to ensure your stencil doesn’t move. This will help get crisp paint lines.
2. Carefully paint the carrot portion of the stencil with the Pumpkin Patch paint and the stem with the Leprechaun paint. Dab the paint directly from above to create crisp lines with no bleeding.
3. Let the paint dry completely and remove the stencil.
4. Fill the dried treat bag with whatever you choose! Crayons, small trinkets, or any kind of candy would be a fun surprise for your littles to find!
