Four Places I Stash Huggies Wipes (That Aren’t the Changing Table)

There is one thing that inevitably accompanies being a momma: messes. There’s really no way to avoid them. From the second they come out spitting up and drooling to when they’re older and playing in the dirt and coloring on everything that isn’t paper, messes are an inescapable part of motherhood. Because I’m always trying to find ways to simplify my life, I’ve found that stashing Huggies® Wipes from Walmart in four key places has made cleaning all of the unexpected messes so much less stressful.

Before I dive in to the places I think are so crucial to have the wipes stashed for any busy parent, I think you should know why I choose the Huggies® Wipes every time. Huggies® Wipes are best because of their TripleClean™ technology that no other wipe can tout and the wipes come in a variety of fun, convenient packaging, so there is a design that will always suit your needs. And let’s be honest about why I’ll never stop using wipes: Because Kids Outgrow Diapers, Not Messes.* I mean, consider meal time and play time, plus all of the messes that happen while you’re on the go. Wipes are a no-brainer!

1. In the Car

In the console between the driver’s seat and the passenger seat is a fairly deep console that always has a stocked package of wipes. If you don’t have a console like mine, you could easily put them in your glove box or under your seat. Just make sure to put the wipes in a place that’s easily accessible.

The wipes in this location have saved me on more than one occasion. From cleaning up Sarah’s spit up to helping Reagan with a runny nose situation to soaking up Luke’s water bottle spills in the back seat, I’ve avoided many a disaster with those wipes.

2. In the Diaper Bag

This one honestly seems like a no-brainer, but it needed to be said. Even if your kids are too old for diapers, carrying a travel package in your purse can save you when you get stuck in an on-the-go mess. Luke manages to get so ridiculously dirty everywhere we go, so by having an extra wipe on hand, I’m able to quickly clean him up before we head out to our next destination.

3. In the Family Room

We live in a two story home so it isn’t always (or ever) convenient to schlep a squirmy Sarah upstairs every time I need to change her diaper. Additionally, without fail, we always manage to have a spill or messy issue in the room we spend the majority of our time in.

I’ve tucked a package of wipes and extra diapers in the bottom drawer of our side table so I’ve always got something to clean with within arm’s reach.

4. In the Craft Room

Friends — it isn’t just the kids that can make a quality mess; I’m just as bad as them, if not worse, when it comes to my craft space. From painting to rubber stamping to gluing together projects, I manage to need a wipe or ten every time I’m in there. I hate to stop working when I’m in the throes of crafting, so having that package of wipes close to me just makes sense.

So there you have it: my four places that I’ve got Huggies® Wipes stashed (that aren’t the changing table). Do you have any other places that you like to keep wipes for those unexpected messes?

i usually have a package in the bottom of the stroller and the back of the bike trailer (for messes from the park!). I also keep a package on the floor under a “cabinet overhang” in the kitchen – the kids know to use them for everything, especially sticky spills to spot clean the floor and/or counter!
