For each new holiday or season that approaches, I love being able to share a special treat with my kiddos that celebrates what’s going on in the world around us. Because we live in the Phoenix area, snow is something rarely seen by my children so snowmen are hot stuff around here; these simple Donut Snowmen were a big hit with my littles!
These were so simple to create and took just a few minutes from start to finish!
- Hostess Mini Donuts
- chocolate cookies in standard and miniature sizes
- miniature chocolate candies
- candy melts
- plastic sandwich bag
I put together a video that walks you through the process.
Before you start, you’ll want to prep the candy melts. Place a small handful inside the plastic sandwich bag and seal it closed, making sure to press the excess air out of the bag. Warm the melts according to the directions on the back of the package. When they are completely melted, snip just the very tip of one corner of the bag to allow for the melted candy to be pressed through.
