Because I was an elementary school teacher in my past life, I know that by this time of year, teachers are SO ready for Winter Break to quickly get here. While we absolutely love our sweet kiddos and adore getting to do all of the fun holiday stuff together with them, by the end of December a break is definitely welcome! I had exactly that in mind when I started dreaming up a gift that I could give to each of my kids’ teachers this year; a spa gift basket seemed like a natural choice.
There were some key items that I associate with spa awesomeness that I made sure to include in the cute little basket I purchased from Walmart:
1. Amopé Pedi Perfect™ Electronic Foot File
Teachers spend countless hours on their feet: while they’re physically teaching, while they’re standing next to a copy machine during their prep time, while they’re on recess duty, the list goes on. By the end of the day, let alone an entire semester, their feet have taken a beating. The Amopé Pedi Perfect™ gets rid of all of the dry, rough skin in a matter of minutes without all of the work a typical foot file takes.
How do I know about the awesomeness of the Amopé Pedi Perfect™? I tried it out for myself and I can’t stop raving about all of the perks to this fun gadget.
Not only does it exfoliate quickly and easily, but it also has an ergonomically shaped head for easy handling and microabrasive particles on the roller surface that work to gently remove dead skin. There is a difference of literally 2 minutes from the before and after pictures.
2. Bath Salts
A good, long soak in the bath can release so much tension and relax all the tired muscles from a long day of working with a class full of sweet kids. While there are so many recipes out there for easy bath salts that you can make on your own, I took the easy route and purchased a large bottle of the pre-made variety and re-packaged them in a simple milk bottle I found at our local craft store. Top it off with a square of tissue paper and some decorative twine and you’re all set!
3. Bubble Bath
Along with the bath salts, a good long bubble bath can be just as relaxing. Once I again, I purchased a decorative bottle that I re-packaged the bubble bath in. There’s just something way more appealing to me about a cute glass bottle versus the plastic packaging things typically come in.
There are lots of other things that could be added to the basket that you could tailor to the likes of your particular recipient like loofahs, lotions, nail polishes, or gift certificates. The sky is definitely the limit!
Ready to create your own Spa Gift Basket? I was able to purchase everything at my local Walmart, including the Amopé Pedi Perfect™ Bonus Pack. In fact, that’s the only place you can get that bonus pack. Keep an eye out for one of these easy-to-spot Amopé Pedi Perfect™ displays or check it out in the foot care aisle. You can even get a $5 coupon here!
