With summer finally in full swing, it’s time to start prepping for all of those super fun family road trips! The kids’ travel binder was such a hit from a couple of years back that I thought I’d add a couple new pages to refresh it, in case you’re using it again. A printable travel scavenger hunt makes for a perfect addition and even sneaks in a little learning.
I remember loving how my whole family piled in our sweet van, packed to the gills with everything extra we could fit in there, in addition to the six people in our family. While the entire trip wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows, some of my best vacation memories come from those hours we spent together on our way to our next fun adventure. Now that I’m a momma myself and get to plan these kind of experiences for my own little family, I thrive on getting a chance to make special memories for each of my kidlets.
I’ve created two separate scavenger hunts to keep of my older kiddos engaged and entertained during our road trip and while we’re out in nature. While we’re only going about two hours from our home, it’s still an opportunity for each of them to keep their eyes out, practice their reading skills, and using their problem solving abilities to figure out where they might find the next thing on the list.
